Proper selection of sealing ring material and structure: When choosing a sealing ring, it is crucial to consider properties such as hardness, anti-extrusion ability, tensile strength, and resistance to permanent deformation. Additionally, it is important to calculate and verify whether the cross-section ratio of the seal ring and the compression of the lip are reasonable.
    2. Designing the retaining ring with appropriate material and structure: The hardness of the retaining ring material should be higher than that of the sealing ring material. The retaining ring should be of oblique cut type to ensure effective retention of the sealing ring.
    3. Ensuring reasonable design of size and shape tolerances for the contact surface: It is essential to carefully examine the size and shape tolerances of the mating surface before assembly. Strict adherence to these tolerances helps in achieving proper alignment and effective sealing.
    4. Designing the guide angle of the seal ring correctly: The size and angle of the guide angle in the seal ring assembly should be reasonably determined. Typically, the axial length of the guide angle (C value) should meet the specifications mentioned in Table 1 or can be designed based on sample seals.
