Gasket seal is a ring seal with a gap which is placed in the annular groove of the sleeve. The sleeve rotates with the shaft. Seal ring in the compression through the elastic clearance pressure on the fixed part. The inner wall of the hole can act as a seal. All contact surfaces need to be hardened and polished. The seal ring is made of chromium bearing wear-resistant cast iron, which can be used for sliding speed less than 100m/s. If the sliding speed is in the range of 60 ~ 80m/s, the seal ring can also be made of tin bronze.
